Massalé or Colombo Curry Powder
A traditionnal spice from Mauritius to supplement your dishes!
Massale is a blend of spices and aromatic leaves, artisanally grilled and grounded.
There are two types of Massale, spicy and mild, the spiciness comes from the presence of dry chilli powder.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon coriander, ground
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin, ground
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper, ground
- 1⁄4 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ginger, ground
- 1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric, ground
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cardamom, ground
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄8 teaspoon mace, ground
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
Method
- Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Transfer to an airtight jar and store in a cool dry place.
