Lamb Steak Bake
Ingredients
- Lamb Steaks (4 small), coated with olive oil and lightly salted
- 2 x Potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 x Carrot, peeled and pieced
- 1 x Red Onion Large, peeled, halved and sliced thinly
- Salami thin slices cut small, handful or too taste
- Garlic cloves, peeled and roughly chopped
- Rosemary
- Feta cheese
- Blue cheese
- Worcestershire
- Salt & Pepper
Method
- Par boil Potatoes and Carrot, then let cool
- Add onion to pan and lightly brown in olive oil
- Add salami and garlic to onions in pan and sauté, then remove from pan
- Add lamb to pan and lightly brown all sides
- Thinly slice the cooled par boiled potatoes and carrots
- Combine potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, salami, oil from lamb frying and rosemary in a bowl, add some Worcestershire and mix lightly
- Line a baking tray with paper and place the lamb steaks
- Spoon over the mixture of veggies etc. from bowl
- Top with Feta and Blue cheese to taste
- Bake in moderate oven 180 degrees Celsius for 30 to 40 minutes
