Biscuits - Apple & Spice

From the back of Kellogg's Rice Bubbles box.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C
  2. Beat sugar and margarine (butter) in a small bowl with an electric mixer until combined and light in colour. (nutri-bullet is a good tool for this)
  3. Transfer to a large bowl.
  4. Stir in apple puree, honey and egg whites. (this mixture may appear curdled at this stage)
  5. In another bowl combine crushed Rice Bubbles, sifted flour and spices, then add to the main bowl and mix until well combined
  6. Roll level tablespoons of mixture into balls, place then 5cm apart on baking trays line with baking paper.
  7. Press down lightly with a fork.
  8. Bake in oven for about 8 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
  10. Store in airtight container.
